Batturtle Productions is an independent filmmaking production company based out of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Most recent short projects include the vampire duology 'Gwen' and 'Mercy', and an end of the world tale '07-07-13'.

Our Mission

Batturtle Productions is a small independent company with big ideas. Making original high concept films ranging from genre tales featuring vampires, zombies, and the end of the world; while also developing strong character based dramatic and comedy projects.

Screenings

On Saturday December 30th, after Christmas festivities and before New Year's Eve parties, the Mayfair Theatre in Ottawa, Ontario (1074 Bank Street) will host a late night showing (11:30PM) of a number of locally producer horror shorts.



Included in the Killer63 program will be 'Checklist', a new short created for the event, written and directed by Josh Stafford. More information on the filmmakers and the nights schedule can be found at:

'07-07-13' was one of the short films invited to take part in the 2006 International Independent Film Festival at the San Diego Comic Con. Many thanks to the kind audience for questions and compliments and to the hard working staff and organizers. The convention was great fun and it was excellent to be screened alongside so much fine work.
